Workplaces re-imagined: How global Branding Tech Company “Tracksuit” Embraced Workplace Design in a way that matches their growth and innovation in brand health tracking.

We had white walls, standard furniture, and poor space division. As a rapidly growing company we needed a more flexible space that could grow with us.
Grace Dombroski Operations Manager -Tracksuit
At No More Boring_, we believe the workplace should inspire creativity, productivity, and well-being. After all, we spend a third of our lives at work—why settle for beige walls and uninspiring spaces?
In this interview, we sit down with Grace Dombroski – People Experience & Operations Manager for the incredible brand tracking tech company that is Tracksuit. We had a chat about their recent workplace transformation journey across Auckland, New York & Sydney.
No More Boring_: Thanks for chatting with us today Grace ! First, could you share a bit about Tracksuit and the work culture you wanted your office to reflect?
Grace / Tracksuit: We’re a tech company focused on brand tracking and analytics. Our entire business is about helping companies understand how their brand resonates in the market. We’re data-driven but also highly creative—we needed a workplace that balanced those two sides of our personality. Before our workplace transformation with Gwynn, our office felt quite sterile and it didn’t match who we are as a company. I wanted a space where people would have “office FOMO” days, that was part of our design brief to Gwynn, and the really cool thing is we don’t need to enforce days in office, everyone just wants to be here which I love!.
No More Boring_: What were the main pain points in your workspace before our collaboration?
Grace / Tracksuit: Despite having a decent physical space, it felt sterile and didn’t energise our team. We had white walls, standard furniture, and poor space division. As a rapidly growing company we needed a more flexible space that could grow with us. The irony wasn’t lost on us that as a branding company, our own space lacked the awesome culture and personality that is Tracksuit!
No More Boring_: You mentioned culture —how important was employee wellbeing in your decision to refresh your workspace?
Grace: Absolutely crucial. We knew we wanted to create a space that people want to spend time in and feel comfortable in, that has a direct impact on culture and well-being but also on collaboration, creativity, and ultimately our business results.
No More Boring_: Many companies hesitate to invest in workplace or office design because they’re worried about costs. What convinced you it was worth it?
Grace: A complete office fit-out didnt make sense as a start up on the journey of rapid growth, we wanted a “refresh” that had flexibility to grow with us. What attracted us to No More Boring_ and Gwynn’s awesome design approach was the middle-ground approach—more impactful than just adding some greenery, including office interior design and styling but without the hefty price tag or permanent walls of a complete renovation. Gwynn helped me source desks, meeting pods, branded film for more privacy and branding on our meeting rooms and multiple layouts to show how we expand our space to accommodate our growing workforce. The subscription model also made financial planning much easier than a large one-time, one off expense.
No More Boring_: Let’s talk about the design process. What surprised you most about working with us?
Grace: The attention to detail in understanding our company culture. Before showing us any designs, Gwynn spent time observing how we work and understanding our business both for now but also for what’s next in terms of the high growth nature of our business and the unique needs that means for our space.
No More Boring_: Could you share the most significant changes we made to your space?
Grace: Thats a tough question…. We love it all! If I had to choose one stand out it would be our new flexible greenery wall, its moveable! How cool is that! . I love those before and afters (see images below) which show just how transformative our greenery wall is. Over time as the plants have grown Gwynn and his design team come in and move the plants to ensure the texture and space always feels curated. Its beautiful! Oh another part is the acoustic treatments have made a huge difference too; our space was quite cold and noisy due to concrete floors, Gwynn laid acoustic carpet squares which has made a huge difference to the quietness of our downstairs area. And the brand touchpoints throughout—subtle nods to our company colours and values—make the space distinctly “Tracksuit” without being overtly shouty heavy-handed.
No More Boring_: Now that you’ve been in the refreshed space for a while, what impacts have you noticed?
Tracksuit: The most common thing I hear is “The plant jungle looks so cool”! That’s how people refer to the greenery wall. We’ve noticed increased collaboration, with team members from different departments spontaneously working together in the shared spaces. Clients who visit are genuinely impressed, which reinforces our brand as innovative and forward-thinking.
No More Boring_: Any final thoughts about the future of work and the role of the office?
Grace: What Ive learnt through working with Gwynn is that you cant assume what people need when it comes to the workplace. There is a fine balance between balancing the role of work in the workplace with the personal needs of people be it space, flow, sensory needs and prioritising the general well being of our people. Great workplace design balances all these things.
What I learnt from Gwynn is that workplace design can be flexible, and as a fast growing start up we have designed elements that are moveable, modular and flexible. Take our cool desk end greenery planters as one example, we move them around all the time for talks, events or backdrops for webinars etc.
Gwynn helped me learn about flexibility and moveability of great office design. I have taken these learnings into consideration when planning our global offices, so our global offices are connected but also flexible, we move things around for the various needs we have and the teams love that.

No More Boring_: Any final thoughts about the design process or outcome?
Grace: Just that we wish we hadn’t waited so long! But finding Gwynn’s unique middle ground approach to workplace design has been a huge plus for us. The transformation here in our Auckland office has had tangible benefits for our business, so much so that Gwynn has helped me with our New York office and currently our new Sydney HQ.
This means our global offices have a brand connection that people recognise when visiting physically but also on the many VC calls we are on – there’s always a connection for our people that despite being global we are connected. And the subscription approach means we can evolve the space as our needs change, which is perfect for a growing tech company like ours.
We’ve gone from a workplace that didnt fully reflect us to one they genuinely enjoy spending time in—and that makes all the difference.
No More Boring_ specialises in affordable, high-impact workplace design without the need for a full, costly refit. Our approach enhances employee happiness and productivity through strategic design, greenery, and modular elements that grow and adapt with your business.
